So here is my first post. I thought I would blog to let you all know how we are. It seems easier to write to no one inparticular than to sit and write to an individual. Silly huh?
I am very relieved that the holidays are close to being completed. I feel as though I am drowning in work and I do not know when I will get it under control. The holidays have just added to the chaos. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy them. I just don't have time for them. In fact, so little time, I just realized 5 minutes ago that it is New Years Eve. I can guarantee I'll be writing 2005 on my checks until 2007 rolls around!
Every day it seems as though my life goes by faster and faster. I thought it was because I was really busy but I have been told by others twice my age and not nearly as taxed, that it is the same for them. Maybe it is God's way of opening our eyes to what really matters.
Well my little Belle is growing by leaps and bounds and she is almost sitting up, without toppling over. I will be glad when she can get around on her own. She seems quite frustrated with the limited mobility.
On my end of things, it has been very difficult to keep the business running, as well as school, house, etc. I have managed, but nothing gets done well, just mediocre, and I am not fond of mediocrity! Out of desperation I hired a housekeeper but there was a language barrier and she wasn't very good at it. I finally let her go, when she used a bacteria ridden sponge that we use to clean out the sink, on my butcher block, ( after telling her not to. ) I just couldn't stand it after knowing where that sponge had been! Oh well, I thank God for what I have, which is more than most people.
Enough for now. Happy New Year!
